Radiant Aviation
Radiant Aviation, Inc. has developed,
patented and sells the world’s only infrared alternative to
traditional glycol-based aircraft deicing. Radiant deicing
systems are fully approved for use in the United States by the
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Radiant’s patented technology was developed in cooperation with
the FAA in the mid-1990’s.
Radiant facilities are currently installed and operating
at New York’s JFK airport, one of the busiest international
gateway’s in the world and at Wisconsin’s Rhinelander airport,
serving the general aviation and regional airline community.
With increasing pressure to reduce the use
of glycol and mitigate its impact on the environment, several
airports across the United States and Canada are in discussions
with Radiant to scope the installation of Radiant infrared
deicing facilities at their airports.
Radiant Aviation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Radiant
Energy Corp., a publicly traded company on the TSX Venture
Exchange (TSXV.RDT).

A New Radiant
Radiant Aviation re-launches its patented,
FAA approved infrared deicing technology. Using Radiant reduces
glycol use at source as much as 90%, is significantly cheaper
and faster way to deice and dispatch aircraft in winter. Radiant
systems are working successfully at JFK, EWR and RHI where the
first unit was installed in 1999. The new logo above is symbolic
of Radiant’s modern technology.
